Each turn draws credits based on which model you picked and how much work it did — Eco models sip, Standard models drink, Frontier big dogs gulp. Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle; grabs and recharge packs never expire and are spent after your monthly bucket runs out.
Frontier models (Claude Fable 5, Opus 4.8, GPT-5.5) are the most powerful models in the world — and they think before they answer, which is more work per task. The model picker in the Editor shows every model's class and estimated burn before you commit, and the live meter shows the real number as you go.
A task is one real ask — “add a grappling hook,” “fix this boss fight,” “light this level” — which typically runs 15–20 agent turns. Estimated appetites: Eco ≈75 credits, Standard ≈300, Frontier ≈550–1,500. The live burn meter shows your real number as it happens — and most tasks land under the estimate.
Further than you'd expect. The Editor's agent pipeline is heavily optimized end to end, so a credit in Ocsidian does roughly double the work it would in a raw setup — on every model in the catalog. Your dashboard shows the bonus each month.
